WELiT® IE K1 106 is an infrared extension kit that allows users to operate multiple devices from a greater distance. This is an excellent option when the equipment to be managed is located in a different room. This can be used to share single pieces of equipment across multiple rooms while yet allowing each room to control the equipment through IR remote control. It accepts Dual Band IR transmissions as well as the RC-MM Protocol. The package includes one infrared receiver, two dual infrared emitter modules, one signal repeater block, a DC adapter, and a power cord. The diagram below depicts a typical product installation. lR Receive can be mounted on the TV's bezel or anywhere else we want to position the remote control during normal operation. The IR Receiver picks up the IR signal and sends it to the Signal Repeater Block. This block filters out noise, amplifies the signal, and sends it to the IR emitter, through which the signal reaches the device.
When the needed distance between the IR Receiver and the IR Emitter is large, this device is an excellent solution.
Any excellent quality 3.5 mm jack extension cable available on the market can be used to lengthen the cable as needed.
To expand the length of the IR Receiver cable, any additional excellent quality UTP CAT5/6 or other three core wire can be utilized.
